OK, small story. Bought PSU for the 360 a few months back. Paid for the hunters liscense on xbox live (which I thought was a one time thing), and played a little bit of it. Didn't like the game, sold it. Just yesterday, I found a charge on my account for the following amount and under this name:

    Xbox Live: 9.99

Thing is, I never bought anything on Xbox Live worth 9.99 since then. Question is, how do I cancel this? I no longer have the game, so I can't do it from there. Is there a online site or something on the 360 I can use to take my debit card off Sega's crappy billing system?

If you can't, contact your bank and get a manual ban put on any transaction attempt made by the people that charged you. That would of course prevent you from making Live purchases though, but you would probably only need the ban put on it for a month or so.

I figure that if I take my bank card off, then they wouldn't be able to charge it. Granted, I can't do that until I get my hard drive back from a friend.

This is weird. Don't you have to buy "points" in arbitrary amounts to purchase anything on Live?

IIRC PSU is a 'monthly renewable' game, not a 'one time payment' game i.e. the small print would of told u that 9.99 would be taken each month until u cancel the service.

I love it, I just fucking love it. I can't cancel it on the 360, I have to go to a microsoft page to cancel it. I go to the microsoft page, and it brings up a confusing list of people I should contact to cancel it.

Goddamn it, Microsoft, can't you make anything fucking simple?

EDIT: Just for reference, this is the page for Xbox live memberships and such:

I ctrl + f the word "cancel" and it doesn't give me jack shit.

Just contact sega directly and they should point you in the right direction. Suck though I must admit.
