I know many people in the west import Vocaloid games, so it's good they're thinking about bringing it here.

Agreed SEGA's been hanging on by a thread for a while now so seeing this is a breath of fresh air and it could be a step in the right direction for SEGA, if they keep making decisions like this and actually communicate with the fans more then they just might be able to pull themselves out of the hole they've dug themselves into.

Exactly bro, it'd be great to see SEGA rising from the ashes. SEGA still have a fan great fan base, it's just those fans are not buying their new products.

The reason most fans aren't buying their new products is because most of SEGA's new products lack originality and uniqueness, that and the fact that SEGA has a major problem with only catering to their newer SEGA fans while outright ignoring their older SEGA fans in the process, and in the gaming industry you can't do that you have to balance your resources and make games that appeal to both audiences, if SEGA were to do that i can almost guarantee that SEGA could put themselves back on top.

It would be pretty pointless for them to waste too much time appealing to older fans, considering they're such an insignificant demographic by now. That being said, Sonic Transformed was pretty obvious fanservice for fans of older Sega: Panzer Dragoon, Burning Rangers, Golden Axe and House of the Dead tracks, Beat, Vyse and Alex Kidd among others as characters...

Looks like an interesting game... I'd say go for it, Sega? Too bad they don't poll the public about all the stuff people like us want them to work on...
