Its called a Katana, look around the marketplace or the forum I'm pretty sure I've seen them boxed.

I've seen these come up on Yahoo Auctions Japan in-box, but I'm sure that shipping would be very expensive.

Thanks, but i know it) The earlier dev kit has "Katana" written on front side and later version has "Dreamcast" written on front side.
For my location - yes, it would be expensive. But its better to have info abot item's weight.
Already done and already looking on auctions. Waiting for info from someone who is collecting dreamcast stuff for years and able to say about it's prices in last 3 years - just to know what is a good price and what is too overpriced.

I can help you. There's no good price or overprice, the price is what you are willing to pay for it.

If a Katana is somehow a rare item, a boxed one is a very rare item indeed. I've only seen 2 katanas with box for sale in the last 2 years. Most of the time, they are sold as-is, with no box or manuals.
The last katana with box, manual and a SDK 1.30J sealed disc, all in pristine condition, went for more than 1.000 € in Yahoo Japan, but I can't remember the exact final price. I remember I had to stop bidding.

As for a loose one (no box, no manuals) in working order, be prepared to pay $600 minimum. It can go up to $1000. I wouldn't pay $1000 for an unboxed one though.

    Hope I have helped you.
