It's not worth that much is it? They (estarland.com) also have a Partners and Sonic LE but you have to call them for the price. I'd hate to see the price on those.

I buy a lot from this import store and they are good on game price's, you may be thinking of (Buy Rite) Paulo, yes they are crooks.
What is cool about this store is you can check stock and condition of it live online, all of their items are in excellent condition, that is the only way they will take them in trade.
Im sure they have the said items in stock, I just thought it was noteworthy that they have a 000/850
I can see how this console would command a few bucks.

This system is not worth $1500. If you're willing to pay that, I'll get you a new one for $1400.

Well they say they have just about all the very very rare consoles... I think we talked about this store a while back and many said it looked like the store was using it just to generate publicity for the store.

Also all those consoles have been there for a long long time. I remember bringing this up along time ago.

That's indeed a very rare console and of course it's worth 1500.- $ for a collector.
Nr. 000/850 is the Seaman Xmas protoype console. There are also prototypes of the D-Direct color edition (super black, pearl blue, pearl pink and silver) - they have a special letter from D-Direct.

I saw the #000 Seaman Xmas DC for sale on Yahoo auctions around a year ago. It was sold for more than 100.000 Yen. Seems that EStarland got it.

    a proto ? no , not really , all LE DC systems a "zero-system" (000/xxx).

@your Tom: As far as i know it's the first produced console of that kind and if they declare it for good they start the "regular" production.
That's at least something like a proto. Compare it to Zero issues of magazines and comics - it's nearly the same.

Are you sure that they're also "zero systems" of the Custom and Biohazard consoles ? I always thought that the "zero systems" are just the HMV Dreamcasts (clear Seaman / Seaman Xmas).

Slightly related, directed at GroundZero especially - how much is the *Red* Seaman DC worth?

Are you saying the number system goes 000/001 000/002 and so on? If so then this Seaman was the first off the line. 000/000 :D

YourTom: Jan, thanks for the info.

@ID Republix: Prices for both Seaman DC's are really low at the moment. During the last months there were some new units sold on Yahoo auctions - seems that someone cleared stock. But i expect prices to raise again soon.

Prices are ~180.- / 350.- Euro for the Seaman Xmas depending if it's near mint / mint.
You'll have to pay 300.- / 500.- Euro for the clear Seaman DC.
That are japanese prices - you possibly have to pay more on Ebay.

During the last months i got an unboxed Seman Xmas for 140.- Euro, a complete clear Seaman for 315.-, a boxed + unsigned Maziora for 730.- Euro and a blue Biohazard STARS for 690.- Euro.

So does that mean there will not be a number 850 unit? That would mean that there are 851 units.

Yes, there is a number 850/850 unit which means that there are 851 units in whole.

The last red Seaman DC on YJ went for 20,000 yen. That was opened, mint WITHOUT box. You should speculate a mint with box from there, but speculate even more (probably 40,000 ) for a never used one, considering a new silver one went for 30,000 (took two times around to sell it though)

Even so, there's that clear + red combo that's been on YJ forever. I've been out of the DC pricing scene for a while, but roughly $1100 for the two... a couple of years ago it would've sold. Nobody will touch it now. If that's any type of guide, maybe 30,000 + 60,000 respectively would be a fair price.
