Hey, everyone. I bet you know my problem from the title. (I didn't find a thread through the search, so, hopefully, this isn't a well-worn topic.) I got myself a Retrobit V2 VGA Box for my very yellowed Dreamcast. It looks absolutely amazing, but, unfortunately, I'm down to only one TV with a VGA input. My question is simple: Is there a VGA to HDMI solution that's both lag-free and picture perfect? Thanks for taking the time; You guys are the best!
Adam Koralik (who makes a ton of DC videos), did this a few years ago. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JXvXE-Nqr54 That box can upconvert, and appears to be alright.
Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, the Atlona model was discontinued, and the current one is $300. I did find the enKo model below, but I won't jump on anything without knowing for sure that it won't cause lag. http://www.amazon.com/enKo-products-Audio-Converter-Speed/dp/B00KXDSC5O/
I use a Gefen VGA to DVI Plus unit. You can output to HDMI too with a DVI to HDMI cable. Awesome unit, can upscale to pretty much any resolution you want. Can highly recommend it!
