I havea challenge for you. On the Snow stage where you can cross the finish line on the ATV, try to get to the road and drive along it to the tunnel. Every time I try I end up crashing. Yakumo
You mean follow the usual road on an ATV, and all the lakes? If the angle doesn't make you slide into the water, I can probably get anywhere. If you have rocks, you can go anywhere you want basically. It's tough to move sideways at times, because you can slide down, but I climbed almost everything there is to climb on that track. In the complete run video, I took it easy on the throttle at the end, since I didn't want to mess up. You can see how just a bit of extra speed could send you flying past the spot where you can drop down reaching the finish line cave. Oh, and what do I get if I complete the challange? No, what I mean is can you go on the road that leads to a tunnel on the track that you went to the end on with the ATV. It's just after the half way point on the snow board. yakumo
Oh, that tunnel. I thought you meant the cave at the end. No matter. Even though in the first video I did crash my ATV on that road, I did ride it untill I hit the tunnel. I'll check it out today and try to make a video. Man, this is so much fun! Haha!
Okay, first of all, there seems to be an area on that road rigged, so that if you hit it, you fall immediately. I guess that was intended for snowboards. If you're riding on nice snow and fail to overjump the road, you crash because of the asphalt. I haven't tried it too many times, since I discovered other neat things, but at the time it seems pretty impossible. Here's the video. Oh, and there seems to be another area which makes you crash. Where the snow stage is the last one. I'm guessing there's one of these for every stage that comes last in a tournament. Didn't bother to check the others. Now that is some cool stuff you've found there !! Especially the medal platform !! Did you just come across that by chance? There must be others in other stages. Yakumo
Yea. Haha. It was a total accident. I just felt the urge of trying to go through those trees where I entered the snowfield and I was trying to climb the mountain. After I failed, I decided to continue down to check where will I get. And I passed the medal platform! I immediately tried to repeat that to make sure I can find it again, since it's pretty damn white over there. And I did, without a problem. I will try to find some other platforms in other stages. I was doing alot of neat stuff yesterday, exploring all the other stages. And all thanks to that time code! On the Scotland stage I was driving for 15 [!!!] minutes in one direction and didn't reach anything that would stop me on my way. Then I got bored. So you get the idea how gigantic some of the stages can be and how many things they can be hiding. Like abandoned parts of the level maybe? Alternative roads never used ina game? Who knows. I'll keep exploring and if I find something neat, I'll post it. Come on Yakumo! You can do it too! Post some neat tricks. How about checking if you can get on top of a car on that road? They can bump into you aparently, so it COULD be possible, right?
