Sega Game Gear VA4 Serial Number

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong thread. Could someone provide a serial number from a sega game gear VA4 board please?

AFAIK there are 3 major GG designs. VA1, VA4, and VA5. Majesco GG (purple start button, black shell, grey 3 ovals instead of colored) are based on VA5. Other than that I don't know of a way to tell them apart other than opening them up. I believe VA1 are twin ASIC and comes in 2 versions: original with TV tuner support and later that doesn't work with TV tuner. VA4 and later were single ASIC.

Correct me if I am wrong, it has been a while since I dabbled in GG hardware for repair and mod.

I also have a VA4 board right now, however I switched the housing and now that one has gone missing so I don't know the serial number for it.
