    i appreciate your help :)

sadly i dont have access to a long enough Phillips head to take it apart :(
i was gonna take it to my cousins and have him do the mod for me hes good with a soldering iron

do the model 2's layout differ a bunch? i know the model 1's changed late in there life but did the model 2's change much?

Where you're going wrong is looking for a video. You want a website with the mod, much better. e.g. http://www.gamesx.com/importmod/gen2import.htm

The screwdriver is a standard philips screwdriver - unless you're using crappy hex bits, you should have one or be able to get one at a hardware store / dollar store.

p.s. Using proper spelling would be of help on forums - recently, either, horrible, quality, curious, "modding", process and (most importantly) soldering. Sodering sounds like you might be engaging in certain practices with another person of the same sex ;) There's also something called punctuation ;)
