    Hi gang!.
I'm trying to mod my NTSC Sega Genesis revision VA7 to PAL\50Hz ( I know PAL sucks, don't judge me :) ). But unlike the previous revisions that can easily be modded and are very well documented, it seems the VA7 is a weird beast when it comes to the 60/50Hz mod.
Basically from what I've read, some people have tried as well with little success like in this thread for example: http://www.sega-16.com/forum/showthread.php?25178-Has-anyone-region-modded-a-Gen-1-va7

So far what I've done is to replace the main Master clock oscillator for a PAL one, and pulling the ASIC (pin 42) and video encoder pin to PAL (GND). The games display in PAL/50Hz just fine, but the sound is going wacky or in some cases, there isn't any sound at all, similar to the results of those peeps.

Does anyone here knows how to set it to PAL properly, or if there is any other signal(pin) within the ASIC that needs to be changed as well? (maybe pulled high or low???)

    This is my board

I know for a fact that particular ASIC can run in PAL because the same chipset is present on PAL Amstrad Mega PC Sega ISA card's, it seems the only difference is the way the audio and Video is re-routed, wassup with dat? Thanks in advance for any help.
