PAL Model 1 Mega CD here. Nice cosmetic condition but couldn't power up. It was 40€ from ebay and i thought i'ts worth the price since in almost every case the system doesn't power up - a fuse replacement can fix the issue.
I've measured with a multimeter and the fuse was blown indeed. So i've replaced it but still nothing.

What is the second most common issue?

Could be the transistor located nearby. Strange the fuse is blown, typically happens when someone uses a nes powersupply.

I'm a noob when it comes to electronics but i've tested if the current passes the fuse and the transistor by putting one leg of the multimeter onto some IC and the other at the fuse and it seems like the current passing both the fuse and the transistor. Is it a proper way to test it? Thanks!
