Sega Mega CD re-cap, laser sled capacitor replacement?

Hello folks.

As mentioned before, I recently replaced all the main and power/sound board capacitors in my Mega CD, I am also about to start in my sega cd2. I actually forgot to do the ones on the laser sled and I am thinking of doing these as well. Is it
A/worth it (answer is yes)
B/will it affect the trim pot settings to/for the laser (due to slight capacitance variances)? Would hate to replace them only for it stuff up!
