    Hi all,

For sale I have what I believe to be a Mega Drive / Genesis cart programmer, its abit of a custom build by a particular dev company and is labelled up with their name.

Please see the attached pics for more info.

    Price = 50 GBP + shipping.

I am based in the UK, local members are welcomed to collect. I will ship pretty much anywhere in the world, as I do so on a regular basis.

I am a genuine seller, been selling here many years now, alot of you already know me well enough. If you are in doubt, ask around or see the feedback section as some members have left me feedback there.

Payment can be made via PayPal (preferably as a 'gift') or via bank transfer (UK members can pay via personal cheque aswell)

    Thanks for looking.

Damn you, Atlantic Ocean.. Always screwing me over when I least expect it.

That thing looks awesome, though! I'm curious if it's capable of writing new data back to the cart (provided it's not ROM, at least) or if it's read-only and more for debugging purposes.

Gotta love the hi-ram and low-ram chips, though.

Where are you located? I can get you a shipping price if you like. ;)

Its not very likely another one like this will come up for sale again, unless someone buys this, then later sells it of course. I'm not too sure of its functions unfortunately, I was lead to believe it was for writing, but you may be right.

    Location PM'd!

A quick Google search of the "hi/lo" chips reveals that they're each 256k EPROMs.

I'm thinking that these chips might contain a basic program of some sort that interfaces with the cartridge and the external connector.

I still wonder where it's power source might be, though. Could you take a picture of the bottom half of the cart?

Or maybe the write buffer for whatever is being copied at any given moment? Have you made any attempt to see what is on those EPROMS?

Sorry guys, Eviltaco64, replied to your PM, sorry for the delay.

Yeah I can take more pics if you'd like.

segaloco, no I haven't tried reading the EPROM's, I guess the lucky buyer will get that opportunity. ;)
