Looks absolutely awesome ! http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/darrenwall/sega-mega-drive-genesis-collected-works?ref=live I feel excited
Backed it. As an officially licensed product, I'm very interested to see what kind of material will make it into the final print.
That does look awesome. I've never backed any kickstarter projects but am seriously considering this one. As well as purchasing the Sensible Software book they previously did.
30k£ aim reached in 3 days Curious to see what they are going to add to the book with the money they will get from now on.
Boh missed out on earlybird pledge. Pretty excited about this one. Who knew that the original design for the mega cd was the design the mega cd 2 used. Excited for interviews and production art. This definitely looks like a work of passion. Kinda curious if sega is pushing for this to sorta get their image back?
Yeah, just had to back this one. Kind of annoyed I never knew about the Sensible Software book until now.
I've heard this book will cover a few pages about Rent-A-Hero, so that'll be something to look forward too when reading
Now that's one slick cover! They're looking for infos on a weird silver cart with connector (http://twitter.com/romalerts) if any of you voodoos know what's it for!
Didn't think they would break the 50k limit, already going for 60 It's gonna be hype (well, I hope so )
The whole approach and official licensing by SEGA makes this a must-have for every Mega Drive / Genesis enthusiast for sure. I'm very excited to read the final product!
I've pledged too, I also backed their Sensible Software book and for anyone wondering, it is of pure quality! I have no doubt that the Mega Drive book will be equally as awesome if not better!
new update Meanwhile, I'm pleased to announce that we've introduced a couple of fantastic new interviewees into the fold: Rich Karpp (Developer of Vectorman and Vectorman 2) and Michael Latham (Producer of Eternal Champions) will be chatting with us about their Genesis experiences. In the last update I mentioned that Greg Johnson (co-creator of ToeJam & Earl) was on board and I'm excited to say he has sent us a big ol' .zip file full of early development artwork. I hope you will all find the below image just as exciting as I did...
