This is something you can do with a broken Megadrive?

I found this on the side of the road at least 7 years ago.

Finally found a use for it :p

I need to give it a clean still. It is a little dusty.
I just finished working on it anyhow ;-)

By that you mean because I destroyed the Megadrive?

The console was picked up from the side of the street after heavy rain. When I opened it, the components were ruined. Some salvage parts nonetheless.

Looks okay, although you should use the LED light too as well as trying to have fitted a Radio too, the Volume not, on/off switch and Reset button could have all had a function...

Some cheapish MP3 players have radio in them, those could fit inside that clock too.
Then you could try to find a pair of small black plastic loudspeakers , then it would beep extremely high or something. Okay, nice clock. And sorry if I sound a bit out of there today. I am pretty smashed.

    Thanks everyone.

I was going to make use of the power switch and the volume / reset. However, I just wanted to make the thing work by tonight because I never knew what time it was while sleeping / waking up.

It has a radio in it. Works fine.

I did want to make a custom SEGA cartridge with a clock on it that was controller by the Megadrive itself by a GUI, but that is so much work.
