Hi, My name's Lewis, I've been a Megadrive fan every since about 1994, when I got a Megadrive for my birthday.. anyway, here's my gift to all Megadrive fans who've ever wanted to do more than just play games on their beloved system: http://www.sega-devega.net This site is pretty much the main central hub for the Sega Megadrive programming cumminity. My main attractions include a very lengthy (and VERY BASIC - even a 10 year old could understand everything) tutorial on how to program the Megadrive. This document assumes NO technical knowledge. I also have lots of source code examples, downloads, demos, a message board (with great members) and other documents. I'm trying to find new members (to "train up") for a coding contest that I want to organise (we had one last year and it was GREAT!!!!) Anyway, we not commit yourself to something great! You can keep the Megadrive alive by keeping it active. Read my tutorial (named, "Sega Megadrive Programmimng Basics", in the documents section. This will get you started!!!! Tell me what you think! (Btw, some of the pages and downloads are still work in progress - don't panic, I'm constantly working on stuff and it won't be long!) Lewis
Welcome to the boards, another Sega dev programmer! I would love to view the site, but for some reason it does not load up.
Yeah, there was some problems with the server earlier, I think someone's doing some routine maintence at the moment. Anyway, I'm looking to get more people interested in programming (in ASM ) the Megadrive/Genesis, so that we can hold another coding contest (and/or other events to promote development on the Megadrive).
Nope, been gone a long long time. Don't think it's coming back. Too bad since I remember following it for updates and was actually learning. After it disappeared I never got back into trying to learn 68k
