    Hey peeps...

I did the single switch region mod on 2 separate megadrives... Both are pal... one is a TMSS free and the other is another revision...

Both have the same issue... When switching to the 60hz (middle position on the switch) the graphics glitch out...

I am using an RGB scart through to a Framemeister...

I have also noticed that blacks are quite grey... almost as light as the lighter grey on this forum.. is this right?

what else will i need to add to make this work better as i would like the 60hz speed... was thinking of overclocking it too but i bought the wrong crystal and got a 16hts instead of 10..

any help would be a bonus!!

    Thanks in advance!!

Are you switching while the system is booted up? I had similar issues when switching between 50/60Hz on my Genesis Model 1 while the system was powered on.

hmm.. no dice... which sucks.... any ideas... it appears the 60hz picture is quite a bit bigger which might be causing the issue...
But thanks for the idea.. it's another thing to cross off the list...

    Hey peeps....

Still had no joy with this... I thought it may be something to do with the Framemeister that I'm running it through but still not having any joy... if I tried to replace the cap I removed might this help anything?

Regardless of circumstances, switching between 50hz and 60hz isn't perfect on a Megadrive.
The system only has the timing crystal for one of them installed.

WOW!!!! feel free to point and laugh at me!!!

I had the framemeister set at 50hz!!! 0.o!!

I assumed the bottom setting was the highest it would go but i looked again and saw the 60hz settings were above it for some reason!!

but it works fine now... such an idiot!!!

    Thanks peeps! :D:D
