anyone ever seen cdx repair manuals ? i know for the playstation 2 and 1 there are dozens floating around but i never seen any for the cdx/multimega so does anyone have something in that direction ? cause i have a cdx in parts here and when i set it back in the original state i got some parts over h:
Haha, you won't find the service manuals. There weren't many, and they should all have been recalled and/or destroyed. Sega repair manuals are VERY rare.
maybe then someone has pictures of a unit taken apart =) i knew i should haven taken photos when the process was done but the owner wanted just to rush not my problem he has to come come clean with that
Well, as a laptop engineer, I'd have to disagree - YOU set a reasonable time for repair, and tell the customer that. And when you're disassembling something without a manual, ALWAYS carefully place the screws in a manner you'll remember where they came from. Taking photos can be handy, and it would add 2 seconds to your time. http://www.oldschoolgamer.ca/information.aspx?SID=14 You could try asking them.
it was no job i told him before if we do it this way its most likely to never work again =) taking photos would have taken more then 2 secs since the cam wasnt here =) i took some more time and figured most of the stuff out already isnt that complicated at all i only one strange plastic part thats not really fitting into but no prob the thing is going to ebay as broken anyways
