I have been lumbered with a dead Naomi 2 motherboard for some time. Bought it as working on eBay, and guess what it arrived faulty, tried to claim via PayPal and somehow the seller won?! I am still trying to figure that one out! Anyway, I eventually sold it as spares / repair, saved up the rest and bought from a more reputable seller (aka Andy Geezer). So, here is the first N2 title (again, many thanks to Cez for picking up this title for me some time ago.) ** Still looking for the security dongle for the Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution title, but until then I am using straight Virtua Fighter 4. Graphics are excellent for such an old title.
looks great. What kind of screen is that running on? Also, did you actually check the rating of the guy you bought the first naomi 2 from? I scored a sf2 911101 cps1 board off of ebay for 46$ shipped (worldwide shipping). The guy had a 94% rating....however that was affected by one bad mark from something he bought...had nothing to do with stuff he'd sold. Score one for me. I hope you gave that first guy a turd rating.
It's a very compact MINI Naomi cabinet (have a look in the arcade forum for a thread I posted on it). I will be putting the N2 board into another cabinet (Universal), but wanted to test it in the comfort of my kitchen as opposed to the freezer that is my garage at the moment. I live in a Northern climate lol The eBayer seemed reputable enough, had a good feedback on a relatively high number of sales, but I think he got sloppy.
weird. I've been buying off of ebay for years. Anything that went sour I would make a claim and get an instant refund every time. It's really not as bad as a place as some people make it sound. Still I hope you gave that guy a turd rating. Unless you think the naomi actually somehow died because of the shipping and not the guy.
