I think i must of fallen asleep when this happened. I recently had a look at what the Saturn could do, And i found out about the SEGA Netlink that can make the Saturn go online. And because i live in this dump we call Europe we didn't get this Online service even though Europe was SEGA's big supporter. Is it actually possible to get a PAL SEGA Saturn online? Or do i need to get a US/JAP Saturn to go online?
Hey! There's a league for Saturn NetLink players. http://www.saturnleague.com/mxbb/ There you can find great information and play with the members. there's a lot of people from Europe. =) * Is it ok to post the link?
I think its ok to post links, Yeah i found that website. They are a very friendily bunch. And to SEGAfreak, Yeah i read about that, but apparently the Saturns Cart port is very fragile and that could damage it alot. But i think i'm going to have to make a switch for it.
Yes, but you must setup netlink first. You can use some saturn region changer (ie : satconv) on Planetweb browser CD and bootup on your PAL Saturn. You can enter your provider information (login, pass, server's phone number) but don't forget you must have an analog phone line subscription. DSL line don't work and full local loop unbundling too.
