Been looking around the net to see if anyone has a list of PAL Mega Drive games that will work on the Nomad but haven't had much luck.

So, here's the PAL titles I have that work (& the ones that don't):

PAL titles that work on NTSC Sega Nomad:

    Universal Soldier
    Road Rash 2
    Sonic
    Sonic 2
    Mega Games 2
    Lotus Turbo Challenge
    Lotus Turbo Challenge 2
    Jungle Strike
    NHLPA Hockey 93
    Pete Sampras Tennis
    Toe Jam & Earl
    F1
    Kid Chameleon
    Two Crude Dudes

...and those pesky PAL carts that just won't work:

    Landstalker
    Shining Force
    Shining Force 2

Perhaps the Nomad is just anti-RPG.

Wouldn't that list be pretty much the same thing as a list of European games that work on US Genesisesess? (Technically, PAL and NTSC don't apply to the Nomad, since they're TV standards)

Don't know if there's a list of games by region compatibility for the MD/Genesis, but one good way to determine region lockouts is to look at a ROM listing: everything with (JUE) is region free, and everything with only one region letter like (E) will only work on consoles for that region.

Basically most PAL games will work apart from the later releases by Sega, Konami and Capcom.

You can always mod your Nomad to select region, it's fairly simple to do and you can connect it to the mode button on the console since it doesn't do much in the first place.

Don't have time to search for the best guide myself but TmEE seems to know a fair bit about Nomad modding, as he mentions the SMS mod he did in the following thread:-
