I've hit gold tonight... I've found ads which I've searched months to find... They were within various TV ad compilations but I've ripped out what we're wanting to see! These all show you Yanks that us Brits were the kings when it came to Sega ads. :110: Pirate TV - Aladdin Pirate TV - Sonic Spinball Pirate TV - Planet of the Pigs This one isn't pirate TV, but it's another classic UK Sega ad that was also found... Starring the same guy from the Cyber Razor Cut ad we all remember! Sonic The Hedgehog To be this good takes AGES To be this good takes SEGA :icon_bigg I'm going to keep scouring the 'net to see if I can uncover more gems... (Now I'm going to hang myself, because SEGA and gaming is no longer this awesome. :-()
Awesome, I too have been after these for absolutely years, I contacted Sega and they just replied "dunno, contact Sega America" I wonder if the others will surface in time...
Hmmm just looking at your collection SegaMark and I'm almost tempted to get a van to nick your stuff .
Thanks, I had always thought that British TV was more refined than US TV, but those ads were just as annoying as the US Genesis ads. The Planet of the Pigs one began well, though.
Pfft, you Scousers. I'm hoping I can find the Sonic & Knuckles Pirate TV ad... I remember it being amazing...
I remember all of these ads and thought they were great, used to get really excited when they would come on (i was like ten at the time) :icon_bigg Often in the break for gamesmaster or the childrens CITV 4-6 slot. Does anyone remember the name of the games show they had on CITV had that female journalist with the short bleached hair and i`m sure Andy Crane was hanging about for some reason.
I remember those SEGA pirate ads in spain, with a really weird translation (I couldnt understand shit:lol. Now I wonder what were they smoking:033:
I always thought Andy Crane was a gimp  The woman is Violet Berlin who was pretty hot. She did her very one game show on UK Bravo called ...err... Bugger I forgot the title however it was a pretty good show. She really knows her stuff most of the time unlike most game show hosts. Oh, yeah, the ITV show was called Bad Influence. Yakumo
There's actually a Bad Influence fansite with a few episodes to download. http://www.bad-influence.co.uk/ Now, on the subject of shows, who remembers Games World?
Gamepad? It was followed up with Gamepad 4 if I remember Alas, it was canned a few years ago. Dunno what she's doing now. A mention should go out to Bitz as well. Oh, and of course yet another plea to bring back GamesMaster.
The GamePad series was actually quite good IMHO, gamesmaster I thought was always for the younger gamer, but then everyone is younger than me  I love the VIZ ad`s never ever seen those, but remember seeing the PIRATE TV ad`s, these were pretty good, a little bit different, which always was SEGA`s advantage
