Anyone know what happened to the ever so busy console R&D departments at sega??? Were these people all fired or do they still work at sega in some backroom planning the next sega console... ***yes i know i dream*** Paulo
Indeed, where are they now? Surely most would have moved to other companies, Sony say or something. But if we are to ever spead any light on the Jupiter/Blackbelt projects, were gonna have to find an ex-SoA R&D man. This is the only way to have our questions answered, reliably. Maybe Wyte knows someone who would be up for telling us things?
I think Sammy pooled them all together and got rid of some people as well. I heard that there won't be AM2, or Sonic Team, etc, anymore. Just one big R&D.
No not quiet. The way i read it was that.... Sega split all the teams up so they could better manage funds. Hence all the teams were "separated". Now they have rejoined and are still seperate teams just not financialy separated as before and have less control over what they do.
