That's pretty bad.. most of those titles won't translate into good home console sales except for vf5 and gundam if any.
http://www.system16.com/other/screens/hnk.jpg http://www.system16.com/other/screens/hnk_a.jpg from the hand of the makers of the Guilty Gear saga. plays pretty similar and is ment to be beautiful. another rumoured game supposedly showing up (take this with a lump of salt)?: Street Fighter IV
Wow, got a source? I've heard *some* rumours about SF4 years ago but they were rather concerned with the amount of characters to keep, and since then I've heard nothing...
I've heard a few people talking about this Street Fighter 4 thing. The most recent stirrings were apparently started by the AM Show Stinger Report that came out recently. Of course, The Stinger Report is subscription only now, so I don't know exactly what's said. The idea Capcom will be showing Street Fighter 4 is sitself not entirely unbelievable since there's been a couple other mentions of the game from muckity-mucks recently, what really stretches the limits of humane discourse is that it's supposed to be an Atomiswave game. Oh well, if it's true, here's hoping for a Dreamcast port...whoo!!! ...word is bondage...
I can't stop thinking about After Burner. I almost cried when i played OutRun 2 in the arcades for the first time (the credit noise is the same as the first game!). OutRun2 is a fantastic sequel. If they do the same thing with After Burner, i'm sure it will be fantastic.
mr.deluxe is right on the money. Stinger Report produced what was allegedly a prospective list of games that would either be showcased or announced at the show. as a disclaimer the poster (who goes by the name of Editor at the mmcafe.com bbs, where it was disclosed) stated that for the previous show (2004) they had got a hit rate of 80%, so it was within reason that this info was not completly kosher. but that was what they had been told. we can only hope..
Wow! ''Outrun Coast 2 Coast'' rumours (12 August 2005) Current rumour is that ''Outrun Coast 2 Coast'' shall be an arcade port of OutRun 2 SP for the XBox 360 and that the game shall release by the end of the year.
In their exclusive coverage, didn't Kikizo already confirm that Sega Rally 3 was in fact the long-overdue 2005 update for PS2? This seems to have disappeared completely from the release radar, so perhaps it is either being retitled or taken back into the arcade where it could benefit from a visual upgrade, Lindbergh-style. I have a feeling that AfterBurner will be a next generation remake of the original, judging from the lack of a number after its title. Also, if Coast 2 Coast is just the Xbox version of OutRun 2 ported then shouldn't it be listed as being for the Chihiro board? Finally, there won't be any home conversions for The House Of The Dead 4 or Virtua Fighter 5 (this once again has already been stated by a representative of Sega, though I can't remember a source at the moment), so the site giving this information has probably just taken what it could from Stinger Report and come up with some of its own conclusions. P.S. Considering their recent Street Fighter-related output, I'd be surprised if a fourth installment in the series turns out to be nothing more than the equivalent of Capcom Fighting Jam (gameplay-wise) with higher resolution sprites. Then again, if they're using the low end Atomiswave hardware - as rumoured elsewhere - it's realistic to assume that Capcom won't exactly be pushing the envelope when it comes to 2D performance. Expect something not too different from the Guilty Gear series, only with better-known characters... unless Ryu and Ken really have been killed off, that is!
