SEGA SAMMY Reveals Net Profits Of $220m (20,269 Million Yen) - http://seganewswire.webs.com/apps/blog/show/3744756-sega-sammy-financials They've pretty much returned back to their old financial position of the early to mid nineties (28,017 Million Yen, 23,223 Million Yen) - http://seganewswire.webs.com/apps/blog/show/3724043-sega-annual-income-1993-2004 I think in all likely-hood there's truth to all the hardware rumors that have been floating around the internet in recent times.
well thanks a lot, now I can't help but get high. PS: judging by the size of the man in the picture I m inclined to say I know who you are
No that was called the trance vibrator. http://www.joystiq.com/2006/07/26/rezs-trance-vibrator-not-sexual/ ;-)
I'm as hopeful as the next gamer, but isn't it pretty optimistic to read intent from a financial statement? Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't think a single number is an indicator of any future product release. As a third-party publisher, Sega has high margins and a deep existing library to draw from. The way I read this number, they *won't* release any new hardware because their current strategy is working well.
On an interesting note: You can use up to 3 controllers in REZ HD to replicate the trance-vibrator found in the PS2 version. Awesome=)
ha! I used to put the N64's rumble pak right on my nuts whenever I killed Ganon. The whole tower rumbled and collapsed, rumbled like hell I tell you. it's a nice feeling having something rumble on your balls every now and then. PS: It's not arousing, more like a massage
Imagine how I felt when my gf told me what she did with an n64 controller... I don't get how people are still taking Sega news wire seriously. Hasn't every article from that site been fake?
It's getting really tired talking about Sega's nonexistent new console. PC and DLC are two arenas where Sega can do well after the likes of Acti-C*NTS and Electronic Arse.
That's not my point actually. I think Sega are doing well in PC publishing. If they acquire a couple more capable teams like Creative Assembly and continue their somewhat reasonable DRM policy there might be a place at the top three publishing slots for them. Where do they stand as of now?
