I've only seen audio mods of the optical variety when doing a bit of research but correct me if I wrong. I have a terrible noise/hum through headphones. I'm guessing it's to do with interference.
Would fitting a 3.5mm jack wired direct to the av solder points resolve this!
Or should I just grow a set and try the optical audio mod?

Yeah scart is the one I'm using. I've seen rgb scart with breakout red white rca plugs from retrogamingcables. If not will try one of the mods.
So basically the interference is from the wires in the cable only.
