For once I'm not going to spin off some huge rant (yay!), so instead here's a link that can explain everything better than I ever could: http://web.archive.org/web/19990202153508/http://www.segaweb.com/Features/SSCM/SSCM.html Providing that worked, now you're ready for my question - can anyone help me acquire this obscure homegrown publication from back in the day?
He's insisting that there won't be any more copies made for all the money in the world, supposedly because certain unfavourable reviews (for Sega Touring Car and The House Of The Dead, I believe) could harm present relations between himself and various people within the AM departments who still work at Sega - I'm guessing his main priority is securing future interviews, as he's one of the few western journalists who seems capable of getting close to the likes of Hiroshi Kataoka... However, I doubt he did himself many favours with that whole Shenmue III incident a few years back. Now if only he'd reveal exactly what it was that Yu Suzuki supposedly requested stay off the record regarding his position at Sega or the whole Saturn Virtua Fighter 3 affair. Surely he could somehow find a way of throwing a bone to the people out there who care for such things? Alright, maybe I'm the only one in that particular category, but still!
