Anyone heard of a Sega Saturn dts software? The description says it contains a library of sample dev games/code. Does anyone have an idea what this disc might be useful for? And if I should go through offer for it? I'd like to know what exactly I'm dealing with here.

EDIT: here's a photo of it:

I have a Saturn DTS CD. It is different from that one.

It is from the Developer Technical Support department, IIRC (off the top of my head). My one was from a developer's conference.

As you said, it is a CD with sample code. It is mostly just basic code ideas and some simple tools.

Should you ever want to part with yours, give me a shout! ;)

OT @ retro, what's up with the site in the watermark? Any chance it's going to be online soon along with http://saturn-planet.com ? ;)

LMAO! Yeah, hopefully I'll get a spare 5 mins to do something with them! My designer for the SP site is Brazilian and I don't get to speak to him as often as I used to. I'll let everyone here know when they're up :)

I have 2 different versions of the DTS. If anyone is looking to get rid of one I'd be interested.

Hi, I was wondering if you could share the contents of the Sega Saturn DTS disks with the sega programming community. I was asked by a member of segaxtreme.net to ask. I am will to purchase a DTS if someone is willing to share. I am sorry if this is out of line, but I think these disks could come in handy to those new to programming for the sega saturn and are looking for examples to work off of as well as the tools on the disks.

    1. It contains nothing you haven't got already

    2. At least introduce yourself in the correct thread before asking for things!

    1. There are a few demos that we do not have currently.
    2. My appologies, I have now introduced myself in what I think is the right thread.

Hi I'm new too :) So are you really sure there is nothing worth we don't already have ? I have the same idea as AmonX, maybe the DTS CDs has some interesting samples.

Yeah, my one has nothing much of worth. The other has possibly a bit more... largely Mac oriented.

If everything goes to plan I'll receive some new tools in a couple of weeks, which, if proven useful, will be released.

Okay I won an auction for 'Shade 3 - Light tools 'by Expressiontools. There were two for sale. One with a dongle and -I think- one without. I'm not sure if I won the one with the dongle but the other I got.

These tools are for MAC so it's hard to tell if they're any use. I will get them in in about two weeks - a month I think. If they seem to be useful I'll promise you'll get them.

Haven't got it in yet because I was waiting for some demos to end (and ship them together). It's a program for 3D models as far as I can tell. I will get my stuff shipping this week so they should be in next week.
