Anyone have a reliable pinout diagram for using Euro SCART out of a Japanese Saturn? I picked up an scart cable ages ago that said it was ntsc us/jp compatible, but can't seem to get a signal out of it with my scart converter and suspect the cable might be at fault, just wanted to verify the pinout. Thanks for any help

So, after checking all the connections on the scart cable I had with a multimeter, turns out whoever I got it from on ebay way back when had failed to wire the RGB switch pin to a solid voltage source and instead wired it to the Composite video pin.

Removed the composite video wire from that pin and attached a 180 ohm resistor from the 5v in on my scart > HDMI box to the RGB enable pin and it started working right away. Video quality however wasn't that hot, swapped the sync wire with the disconnected composite wire and it cleared right up.

Might just buy a new cable at this point, as it's either that or permanently wire the scart2hdmi box to RGB enabled. Getting a newer cable with shielding etc would probably be atleast semi better in some respects as well.

Anyway, glad to see the converter works fine and the cable was the fault :)
