I just got a saturn kiosk off good ole craigslist last week. I am looking for a monitor that will fit good for it. the space for the monitor is just shy of 20" Any advice? UPDATE (months later): Actual pictures of my kiosk: That's the circuit board that lets you reset your saturn through the reset button on the kiosk(can't get it working though. Kind of sloppy photos. I'll post more when I'm up to it. It has the Sega Saturn with a NetLink adapter, fun for playing with the folks at saturnleague.com, two 3d controllers. On the back it has
HAHAHA!!! I edited it out.. I got a TV for it awhile back at a pawn shop. AHAHA .. Jeeze that gave me a chuckle.
Yeah the point was you might want to let people know what country your in and then possibly the general area.
I've seen it on eBay once.. But got this one off Craigslist. The guy I bought it off of said he got it from doing some foreclosures. But he was full of sh*t about a lot of the stuff he told me.. so who knows. It was only $50 USD for it. Came without a TV, the system, controllers, and the top and bottom lights. I probably only spent $130 USD for everything including the top light i still need to buy.
No, that's a US unit. The US ones had horrible orange bits. The UK one was, IIRC, blue (funny how the DC swirls used similar colours). I've seen a few of these for sale before now... often around the $50 mark.
IIRC is short for 'if I recall correctly.' A common disclaimer that acknowledges the faulty nature of human memory.
Sorry, forgot to check back on this thread. Kendrick is right on the IIRC, the ol' memory isn't what it used to be ;-) And I thought it was self explanatory - the US kiosk has horrible orange bits. Do you not see them?! Here's Michael Jackson's kiosk: And here is a Japanese kiosk: I can't find a picture of a European unit, but I'll have one somewhere!
