5v? That sounds familiar, i think the coin-sized battery for the system is meant to be 5v but that might just be a coincidence and i'm talking gibberish about the thread.

Voltage/Ground pinouts are generally printed on the PCB board next to the power connector... if not there, check the underside of the power supply (solder side), should be there. If not you can check the voltage with a voltmeter... but be careful.

If the pinouts are not labeled and you can't check the voltage ... give us a bit more details. Is the power connector 4 or 5 pin? Model of your Saturn... a pic if possible.

Check out this website. I has instructions for a mod chip installation on a Saturn model 1.

Refer to STEP 3. It shows the connection points for powering the chip on 5v.

thank you very much, now im wondering why wont my 50/60hz switch wont work, ive soldered to leg 79, and the GND and 5V and its not working, ive checked all traces around each area, nothing redid all the soldering and the same things happens, when i switch to 60hz it just ticks as if its trying to boot over and over. i havnt had the problem with the other saturns ive modded

I can't see how, I'm 99% sure that nothing is touching, no bridges that I can see. I guess I'll look one last time when I get home from college
