Sega Saturn powers itself off

This is the exact problem that my Saturn had, the fix worked perfectly. Thanks man, if you hadn't recorded what you did in such detail I'd probably have given up by now.

 

My saturn has had the same problem. After a little guidance through email with the OP I managed to replace the transistor in question and it all works perfectly now.
