Sega Saturn region free bios on a 29L3211 eeprom

Hey guys,
Just after advice. Would a region free bios for Saturn work on a 29L3211?
I know that the mod works on a 29F800. I had a look at the pinouts and can see that pin 43 and 44 are A19 and a20 instead of WE and RESET.
Reason I ask is that I have a heap of the 29L3211 chips here.

What are the considerations? What changes are needed with the wiring?

Last thing do I need to byteswap the rom before programming?

29F400 or 29F800 is 5v, the one you have is 3v.

It may possibly work, but not recommended. If the address lines are 5v signals, you are going over spec. You may also find that the data is output at 3v and isn't high enough for other components to read that as high.

You can try it if you want, but seeing as there is a chip that will work properly - I wouldn't bother. It's a little different for the snes carts as there's not a direct 5v replacement.
