Hey Everyone, I'm hoping someone can offer some advice, I have a Sega Saturn VA8 board and I was doing this mod. http://seb.riot.org/saturnmod/ I got the pic chip in, programmed it, soldered the chip exaclty to the letter from the guide and tripple checked all my connections. When I powered on the system, the TV goes from no singnal to a black screen, but thats it. It's getting a video feed from the saturn but only a black screen. if I hold the reset button on the saturn (to change regions) the light will change on the saturn as it should, the tv will once again show no signal, then shows a blank screen signal. I know the guide was written for the VA9 mother board, and mine was a VA8, but as far as I can tell all the jumpers and the 50.60hz points are exactly the same. The other issue I noticed was that all the guides for this mods are done on a PAL europen saturn while mines a NTSC USA one, but I don't thinkg that should matter.... should it? I'm using the saturn on a 52" tv with a sega branded yellow/red/white A/V wire. It worked before the mod attempt, so I don't think its the wire or tv aas the cause. any sugestions would be greatly [FONT=Geneva, Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]appreciated [/FONT]
