Sega Saturn VA0.5 ENR-007B adjustment, or perhaps something else.

Just installed a region free BIOS in this machine and was wondering if anyone was familiar with tweaking the laser at all? I'm able to get it to read my games but compared to my other Saturn (HST-3210) it feels like it is taking at least double as long when reading.

Any information or suggestions would be appreciated, cheers.

 

In case anyone is interested I remedied this by turning the orange pot on the dial 180 degrees. 90 worked but I went with 180 just to be sure.

 

I wouldn't push it a single degree beyond what is absolutely necessary. That's way past what I'd set it at.
