I got two VA 0.8 USA motherboard and two cases. The previous owner tried to make flowers pots out of them. So the controller connectors are ripped from the motherboard. Cables cut.

    1. Like I said the controller ports were ripped from the motherboard and the port for the controller 2 has 2 or 3 missing pins. Any known replacement pins?

    2. The power supply. The board uses 3.3V 0.6A, 5V 2A, 9V 0.3A. But it seems that 9v is only for tv switching.
So is it safe to use a 9V or 12V power supply with something like this (a 5V and a 3.3V one). They are labeled as 3A so I don't think that should be a problem.

    3. The shielding. I don't have the metal places. Maybe someone can post a photo. But I have the legs that support the cd drive.
PS: Now the board has a region free bios.

I'm having problems with the board with region free bios. I've used 27c160 with A18 and A19 connected to gnd. The bios starts, but when you select the language, the bar that highlights the text is missing. After that I get the usual kind of grey screen but the saturn logo is missing. And after that black screen. I've checked all the eprom pins and they all go somewhere
