I don't know of the top of my head but I do know that a game by Victor (JVC) called Valuva or something like that used CRI's MPEG Sofdec with some beautiful FMV but in a small box in the center of the screen. Also a multi media disc on the Saturn called Chisato Horitaka - Watarasebashi / Lala Sunsine also uses CRI's MPEG Sofdec. So it's possible that these games have their movies encoded in SFD format. Sorry Yakumo... been lazy. I'll be playing w/ the converter this weekend. Have fun enjoy your Golden Week. Mine is Golden Shower Week (trans = I gotta work).
Vatlva I think is the name... would love to have it (it's a 6 player racing game from what I've heard :smt033 ) Oh and by the way, Enemy Zero was announced to have Sofdec movies, but in the end they went with Truemotion (or Cinepak... cant remember) :-( This (very good) FAQ might have some more info: http://db.gamefaqs.com/console/saturn/file/sega_saturn_b.txt It also says something about the games "Desire" and "Eve the lost one" using a proprietary codec that's supposed to look very good.
Well, the converter didn't work, unfortunately. I guess these are special vids. I can upload them to Yakumo's FTP and have him take a look at them, but I doubt it'll help.
