Anyone have more info on this one? All I know is this one was trialled by Sega in conjunction with Saturn Modem on the SEGANet with 1600yen per month fee...
Found a writeup of the trial version in Japanese: http://mag00.hp.infoseek.co.jp/cgi-bin/saturn/voice.htm The software would allow access to some BBS and with the microphone plugged in to the Player 2 controller port you could record voices messages and send them via mail.
Hmm you bought that when it was sold on Yahoo Auctions? I saved the picture but didn´t buy it..and was annoyed that I didn´t.
It's just the rarest not for sale cd for Sega Saturn, rarer than delisoba and such demos. I also have a picture of it at satakore.com The program is a lilbit in beta form, as there are some strange behaviors (corrupted graphics or menu/text that don't show on screen).
Like said I saved the very same picture from auction (slightly larger) when it was being sold. It says August 5, 2005..didn't know it was that long ago.
I'd be interested in the price too. Never even heard of that thing before I read it here... and I thought I knew about Saturn. @Madroms How much did you pay for yours?
I don't remember how much I paid for it as I bought it maybe 2-3 years ago. The other hibaihins DO NOT go for such ave, only Delisoba and sometimes Eyefull home go that high. The others are cheaper. Talking about unknown saturn demo disc, does anyone know why Sega Screams volume 1 US is called "volume 1" ? Just because volume 2 exists! and is pretty rare.
