    I made a widescreen for Pandemonium with minimum distortion of proportions. If anyone is interested, I will create a patch (because there is a lot changes). The following screens for comparison (the original size, normal widescreen, fixed widescreen).

    So I guess this post was wrong. I see plenty of 2d game patches at that link. MKT is better than UMK3.

    What is wrong? For 2D games impossible make a widescreen (16:9). You can only change the resolution in accordance with the technical specifications of the console (352 / 704 x 256 / 512 max).
    I did not create a patch for the MKT just because the game is almost unplayable on Yabause. And the patch will not work on the SSF.

    Great! So now 2d artwork and asset+ hud will displace in their correct aspect ratio!

    Not exactly, the distortions of proportions are still present, but they are smaller than they were before. That because I have increased horizontal resolution to 352 pixels. Due to this stretching of 2D elements decreased.

    If you ever decide to do another resolution hack, you should do one for Double Dragon Advance for GBA. It'd be awesome if you could play 2 player with both people looking at the screen, instead of one guy having to look at another one.

    It seems the game has several executables, one for the main loader, and the other for every "game", so every different game needs its own widescreen hack, it remains "Die Hard" to be hacked, but since I don't like that part of the game I don't think I am gonna spend to much time figuring it out, and the main loader screen a screen that you will only se for a few seconds, so it is not worth the time.


    EDIT, these codes are for use with SSF and CEP.

    Yes it should work on a real console like the hacks posted so far.

    Can we list the AR codes that work on a retail unit. And get a list of patches that work on a retail unit too. This would be nice instead of having to read through many posts. Maybe post it on the first page of this thread.

    So in virtua cop 2, can you aim in the new space or does your cursor only go to the edge of where the screen used to be?

    I've been trying to make Tomb Raider Widescreen and it seems it isn't stable, like Croc, the screen will stretch and shrink constantly once you change the initial value... T_T

    But! I've found a zoom modifier value that works fine, plus a way to delete that awful black bar at the left of the screen so at least we can gain some extra fov.

    Also, I've found a value that will let you play the game as you never thought you could. I'll post the codes tomorrow. :)
