Hi all, I recently bought a Sega TeraDrive Model 3, but since i live in Europe, i need to use a stepdown converter to power the unit (230v->110v). Up till now i tried two stepdown converters, but the system doesn't want to power on. I think it has to do with the amount of watts it's being fed. I tried a 45 watt and 75 watt stepdown converter, but no luck. Ofcourse this is sufficient when powering consoles like the Megadrive etc, but i guess a home PC needs more. Do i need a higher watt to get this thing running (for instance a 230v->100v 500 watt converter)? I'm not that familiar with all things related to electricity, so please help me out here if you can. Thank you!
