    Hi all,

I recently bought a Sega TeraDrive Model 3, but since i live in Europe, i need to use a stepdown converter to power the unit (230v->110v).

Up till now i tried two stepdown converters, but the system doesn't want to power on. I think it has to do with the amount of watts it's being fed. I tried a 45 watt and 75 watt stepdown converter, but no luck. Ofcourse this is sufficient when powering consoles like the Megadrive etc, but i guess a home PC needs more.

Do i need a higher watt to get this thing running (for instance a 230v->100v 500 watt converter)?

I'm not that familiar with all things related to electricity, so please help me out here if you can.

    Thank you!

    Well it's 100v not 110v to start

It probably uses a minimum 150 watts if not more.
