I bumped into the TerraDrive on one of the Sega wikis or something was checking it out, very interesting. It seems like a lot of people were looking for software for it. I dug around for a few days digging through old sites and translation hassles, but came up with a few files. Very suprised I could find no manual scans. Hope they help all the TeraDrive users and if you have anything to share please post it. (Most Notable sites) Had the TeraDrive MD SRAM Backup utility. http://ajisuke.fc2web.com/hontai/tera.htm The archive for the After-Tera BBS Files Library - only had a few archives captures, but the listings for what the files do are valid. http://web.archive.org/web/20020204134817/http://www.ad.wakwak.com/~craftmate/aftera/library/p_util/index.html Vector File Website http://www.vector.co.jp/soft/dl/dos/util/se002782.html Collection of all I found of interest, with many saved translated webpages. Possible some PC88 and DOS J/V utils that are not for TeraDrive mixed in, but thought to grab them, better safe than sorry. http://www.mediafire.com/?d3iflijkc2au4rh
Mate, what about making a megaupload mirror, and I will gladly do a multi and mega upload mirror of the files. My kick ass connection misses some upload action, and loving.
Well, sorry for necro, but there is this folder "BANGHOKI" with a game inside from 1999. The exe file mentions "SEGA Game Port" and "Produced by or under lincense of SEGA" : There is also a small "paint tool" inkhoki : What do these programs have in common with the TeraDrive ? Who is "K.Hayama" ? It can also be found here : http://nyaos.org/homepage/dosv/index.html p.s. https://twitter.com/zetamatta/status/513619839441580032 ? Also most other stuff in your archive seems to be font related and not really TeraDrive Stuff. Still, thank you for sharing !
In the 2ch thread I posted in the other thread someone says "If you make the MD accessible from the PC side, the "licensed by Sega" screen is displayed, so even if you did make a game you couldn't distribute it in executable form." So maybe it shows as licensed by Sega even though it's not. Kaoru Hayama "I couldn't forget about [a game called Mahou Keibitai Gun Houki], and back in the club room [at college?] there was a TeraDrive (not a hdd, Sega's 286 DOS/V machine) that no one really used, so I hogged it and made a rip-off called BANG HOKI."
