Saw an ad for this thing, released only in Japan. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sega_TeraDrive Does anyone here own one, and if so whats it like? Seems like a really cool piece of hardware.
Quite a few people here have one. search is your friend. It's not a bad machine, but very impractical given the need for the monitor or adapters, the keyboard, mouse, etc. Sound is excellent.
You mean like the one up right now? It's $0.99 right now, for bid price(with 6 days left), and shipping costs $150.
Yeah I remember someone had posted one of these up that was nearly CIB and I was amazed to see how much it jumped in the last few minutes. The same thing happened with The Pioneer LaserActive that had all of the boxed modular extensions. That flew over $1500 I couldn't believe it!
Indeed. The shipping costs take the piss already But by the end ive seen them finish at $300+ (monitor alone)
If all the extensions and the LD player were boxed that price is not surprising. The MSX extension is extremely htf, especially CIB, let alone the LD player.
