Wasn't there some Brazilian company that also had claim to the Yakumo name as well? Or some Taiwanese PC manufacturer or something? I can just see the results of this now: all the yakuza in Japan receiving cease-and-desist orders from Sega because they are infringing on Sega's new trademark. Bitterly saddened and left without anything to live for, they all retire to raise children and tend vegetable gardens.

Because it's not an english word, i think they might be able to get away with it. The US patent office is a bit screwey. Most likely it wouldn't stand up in court however. Unless sega is trying to start an underground army of yakuza?
