you heard the character creator of that obscure game (as well as others) passed July 28 from Insert Credit Culcept was cool too I played the PSX one, never tried Sorcerian yet though "Game character designer Tomoharu Saito, known for his work in games such as Cave's Ketsui , Segagaga for DC, and the Culdcept series, passed away on july 29, due to a malignant tumor which metastasized in the lungs, even after the amputation of his leg. According to the thoughtful obituary on his site, upon removal of his leg, he simply said 'legs aren't necessary in the illustration industry.' During his cancer treatment, things seemed to be going well, and he was heard to say "I want to work." Unfortunately, it didn't work out that way, but he was able to complete work for two upcoming games, and indeed working on games was his true passion. Culdcept Saga and Sorcerian Online (currently in beta) will be the last games to feature his work. sad to hear. never tried Segagaga thought, is it any good? Sounded pretty cool when I read the description of it.
Segagaga, Culdcept, Bare Knuckle 2 and Astro Boy, just to name a few of his better-known works? Tomoharu Saito deserves to be remembered as truly prolific - shame his life ended so young!

Shubibinman 2 is one of my favorite games from my youth, had no idea that this guy was invlolved so respect and RIP.

Hard to believe that the guy that made one of the nastiest, brutal bosses in a shooting game (Doom) has died at the age of 38.
