Thanks =) Unfortunately my fiancee & I split up and sold our house. I got to keep all of my games and I'm now moved into my own place. Everything is still packed up in boxes. I just don't have the motivation to set it all up.
Thanks mate...To be honest I'm still trying to get over it. Hate living by myself at the moment...hoping I get used to it soon. Doesn't help that I'm still waiting for telstra to hook up my internet!! As I keep getting told..."time heels all wounds" so hopefully I'm right in the next few months!
Resident Evil 2 N64 was $15 I did pick up a few bargains when they closed down- Pikmin 2, a new release at the time was $30, "next door" at JB it was still $100 Nice Dreamcast, and thanks for the close up of GC games
Glad to see another Sega fan here in Australia! Lots of the DC stuff that I'll be after at some point myself, so much awesome!
Sorry to hear about that, but you know some Daytona always cheers me up. What I did when me and girlfriend were finished Hope you're feeling better anyhow.
I just got back from Sydney myself, and I got the chance to once again play the Daytona 2 machine at my old local theatre. I have to say, I was a lot better at it than I remember being, and I really want to purchase that exact machine when I move back from Tokyo in a few years
Thanks for the kind words Hex! Feeling a bit better now...as time goes on it gets easier. I don't mind Daytona 2 but nothing beats the original. I ended up purchasing the machine. It's getting delivered on Saturday arvo. Will post pics when I get the chance. Unfortunately it has delayed the purchasing of all my shelving for the new games room, but it's a worthwhile delay. =)
Hey guys, Bit of an update. Bought a new place, have a new GF and sold some of my stuff. (Most of my LE dreamcasts, arcade machines & a few LE Xbox 360's). I'm keeping everything else. If anyone is interested I may be parting with my clear LE Seaman console & Blue Hello Kitty console. If you are interested let me know. Both are CIB.
WOOOOAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!! Did you end up selling this too? Still, awesome man. Very awesome. I love Daytona USA.
Good to hear everything is looking up for you! I would jump for the Hello Kitty DC, but depends on the price and all.
Yeah, I did end up selling the Daytona machine. I'll probably buy another one someday when I have a bigger house with a bigger man cave! The problem with Daytona arcade machines is they are over 20 years old now and they are very temperamental. Cheers mate. I'm after $250 for the DC. It's boxed and complete.
Just a note, because I have been getting a few enquirers. I have sold all of my LE Dreamcasts. I only have the following consoles left for sale. 1 x Blue Hello Kitty DC boxed. 1 x Clear Seaman console boxed. I also have a Xmas Seaman console which I am keeping. All others are sold, so please don't ask me to sell you them. Cheers
OK guys.....so after a 5 year hiatus on my games room I'm finally back!! New house is finished and I've started to piece together my new games room. I did sell off a few things along the way. All of my limited edition dreamcasts are gone. Kept all of my games though. Added some new arcade machines to the mix and I'm working on getting another Daytona USA arcade machine. Everything is still in progress so I will update when I get things done! I also have a generic cab running Tekken 3 which is not pictured. I will update once I've cleaned up my garage. At this stage, I think I will get rid of the MK4 to put the money towards a Daytona cab.
