Can i paly segasonic arcade on a super gun if so where would i get a trackball control panel for it.

also would the sonic waku police car game and the cosmo fighter game be on jamma arcade PCBs so you could use them on a super gun. if you could ever find one that is.

im new to super gun so any help is cool

Segasonic Arcade can definitely be played on a Supergun, however finding it and the track panel would be very very very very very very difficult, and I'm not 100% sure it could be played without it (although works ok with a good analogue stick in MAME).

As for Waku, not sure on MAME compatibility but again finding it will probably cost you the earth.

Good luck all the same, and let us know if you find out anything.

Check out the above link. Only 2 in the hands of collectors known to the site at the time of writing.

KLOV rarity means absolutely f*$k all. Only two people have been bothered to sign up and fill out a form saying they have the game is more like it!! I mean, take Sega Rally. How many of those are still out there? According to KLOV, 12... and one is board only! Of course in this case, that's quite a lot!

Good luck finding SegaSonic Arcade. You'll need to go to Japan and speak reasonable Japanese for that, most likely... oh, and have a bucket full of Yen!

Waku Waku Sonic Patrol Car is partly a ride. It is very doubtful that you would find a board on its own. Likewise for SegaSonic Cosmo Fighter. The machines are scarce enough, and bloody expensive! (the non-Sonic ones can be 300,000 yen). That said, they ran on STV and C-2 hardware, so technically it should work.

Arr Too bad they had the u.f.o and sonic popcorn machines too.
that had a little game on it where you use the green wheel to make sonic run while your corn is being made the popcorn was ok.

some said i would never get it

some said i would need to go to japan with a bag full of doe.

But all i needed was a bag full of yen and a helping hand from yakumo who did pretty much all of the work.

    cheers mate

Now i show to you ..

a normal system 32 jamma pcb with protective metal case .

also pictured is a sega aero city trackball panel

also inc was the original manual and game marquee advertisement flyer

the game looks 100% perfect on a sega cab.

i can't play the game at the moment because i don't have a trackball panel for a astro city
but the hard part is done..

    very happy :):):)

Looks smart on your Astro City! Couldn't you just connect the track ball to the actual PCB or wouldn't it work that way?

    Very impressive.

I remember playing the game when it was added to MAME many years ago now (the ROM set turned out to be a prototype/location test board I think?), actually quite a nice little game.

    cheers
i guess so but i don't know much about how it works.

thanks ave i have dreamt about owning this pcb for so long now ever since i first played it way back in 1994/95

thanks...me too i think mame dose a real good job of emulating it but i think the real thing is
unbeatable especially when your playing it on a sega cab.

Oh yes, even if Mame was perfect you know it's not the real deal. Nothing beats the feeling of using the real deal.

Can a mod change the subject of this thread? "Can I play" is a poor choice for it.
