Sege Genesis model 2 stereo and s-video mod?

I'm looking to mod my sega genesis model 2 to have s-video and stereo. Was wondering if anyone here had some good guides for it and knew where I could get the stuff to do it.

I was under the impression that the model 2 already outputs RGB and stereo sound natively through the AV connection. Why would u want S-Video?

 

Using S-video over RGB as I don't have a TV with RGB inputs.

 

Thought so. Have u checked? Most TVs these days provide RGB if u have a SCART socket.

This thread mentions changing a video chip on the main board. Not an easy task but necessary if u want S-video on a model 2. U can then tap stereo direct from AV port.
