British trains have many dogs on them all the time and I don't just mean the ugly women, either.

There's no rule in England about having a dog on a train, and I think every train I've got on in my life (excluding the underground) has had at least one dog on it... usually considerably larger than a Chihuahua.

Bonkers Japan, more like! But then, they're perceived to be bonkers by us anyway.

Well, I won't be riding Seibu trains on that day! It's bad enough the trains smell like salary man vomit.

The rule in Holland is, as long as it can fit on your lap it's allowed in the train. Of course that depends on the person so in reality all dogs are allowed on the train.. Just depends how big of a big you're willing to house on your lap.

I take my dog (3.5 kilos) on the train in a bag all of the time and haven't had any problems.

Such a boring event. Not even worth to mention.
