I might be able to help you with translation, but as you know I dont live in germany so I cant do any parcel-forwarding or anything unless the seller agrees to ship to Holland (which would kinda defeat the purpose)

This guy sounds like he'll rip you off with the shipment costs, or he really hasn't done anything similar....

Please write him the following:

"Bitte haben Sie Verständnis, dass ich keine Versandkosten zahlen kann, so lange ich nicht weiß, wie viel diese genau betragen."

That means:

"Please understand, that I can't pay any shipment costs, as long as I don't know how much it'll actually be."
