Seriously, whats up with the food?

Whats the problem with food in japan? are they all starving to death? :ramen

Cowboybebop, Wolfrain, Getbackers, FMA, SoulHunter, etc.....Why is that in every single anime-manga the characters are hungry/starving and cant get any food?

Is that obsesion with food some kind of postwar sindrome? Or is it that hard to have a meal in japan? :smt1069

All I know is that Chinese food is delicious as anything! Seriously, I would eat white rice with all the Chinese ingredients and Sweet & Sour meat everday for the rest of my life! It's that good for me!

 

Stupid anime cliche. It's not like that in real life. You see this (unfortunately) spill over into games. I rank it up there with nosebleeds in terms of annoyance.

And famine is an historical problem of japan: a lot of them died from starvation at the end of the WWII, and still today they import almost 60-70% of the food.

Theres a BIG difference between that and big boobed girls
