Seriously why is everyone at 4chan a A-hole?
I mean every post has the word "fag" or some other a-hole thing.

How can there be a place with so many of them in one place. They seem to hate the world.

I did a post asking peoples opinion of my music and I everyone basically told me to f off. And I posted it in the music forum.

Then I posted about a concert I went too. Apparently because I went to a concert (Los Campesinos!) and got all the members autographs...I'm a poser and a fag.
And a hipster douche.

 

Why anyone would want to hang around 4chan i dont know.

 

Why would anyone call their site such a dumb name in the first place. I mean, 4chan. What the hell does it mean? 4th channel?

 

Honestly I like the idea of 4chan
Its kinda a cool set-up the whole image board idea. And maybe if user names weren't anonymous it'd work.

I like the idea of a forum with a good amount of variety like 4chan has.
And it has a large user base

personally i think that it might be a great tool for sharing knowledge/pics/files and getting fast answers.

but since it's 99% porn i guess the potentiality are wasted. that is if you are not into it

I laugh reading 4chan. I don't post, but just perusing through some of the sites, especially /b/ is a good time killer.

 

Why on earth would anyone want to hang out on there anyway it's just a weeaboo ripoff of 2chan for all those lame angsty kiddies that cant hang out on the real site.

There are SEVERAL channels 2chan 7chan 420chan 12chan

4chan just happens to be very popular. Why is it called 4chan? Because that's how the naming scheme works with imageboards, a number and chan. that's why.

What makes 4chan work is the anonymous function.

I suggest you venture outside of /b/ and you'll see the other sections move slower, have a more tight nit group of regulars, and you can use usernames with a tripcode so people know it's not an imposter.

I'm on /hr/, /toy/, /cgl/ for example often.

as for the word "fag" being used, on 4chan it's hardly used as an insult. The site uses the word "fag" in the same way many african americans use the Nword. To reduce the impact of the word to the point it not longer is effective.

New users are Newfags, veteran users are Oldfags, etc etc. It doesn't mean "gay" in the same manner considering a large majority of the users there are liberal and pro homsexuality.
